January 21, Saturday: 9 - 11:30 a.m. -Culture and Cooking Italian - (For young chefs, ages 8-11) Learn about the culture of Italy as you prepare and sample several Italian dishes such as Antipasto Salad; Chicken, Florentine-Style; Lemon Ricotta Cookies and Italian Soda.  This class will be held in the Northland Pines Food Lab, Room 2218#60-303-64417   Cost: $20.40

May 22, Tuesday:  5:30 -7:30 p.m -Cooking With Herbs- Spring is in the air and in this class you will get some great information on growing herbs as well as using them in food preparation.  We'll prepare a delightful pesto and Minted Tabbouli along with other "herbed" recipes.

Sunday, February 10   1 - 3 p.m.

June 9: Fun with Fondant - You'll be surprised at how easy it is to make your own fondant and to create beautiful cake decoratiions with it.  Each participant will observe an easy way to prepare fondant and each will make a lovely fondant bow to take along.  This class will be held at the Reiter Center in Three Lakes, WI.  To register, call Nicolet College: 715 365 4493

June 18: Cooking with Maple Syrup: Stop by the Antigo Farmers' Market for my demo, recipes and taste-testing.  I'll be cooking with fresh maple syrup from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
 
June 20 through June 24: Summer Cooking Camp For Kids 
Here's a culinary adventure for kids, ages 8 to 12 where kids have the opportunity to prepare food and have fun in the kitchen.  This 5 day camp includes kitchen safety, basic nutrition, simple cooking techniques, measuring and mixing ingredients and proper food handling.  Each child will experience a variety of cooking methods and will learn to prepare a breakfast, lunch and a dinner menu.  This 5 day camp is inter-active and is fully supervised.  Classes are held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Cost is $125.00 per child.  Call iNgReDiEnTs to register or for more information: 715 479 7326
